Summer

Pallisades Creek Trailhead

Just .6 miles down the road, you can find the Pallisades Creek Trailhead. Form this trailhead, you can find 2 spectacular lakes. The Lower Palisades Lake is a 10-mile round trip hike. Perfect for a day hike with a lunch break by the lake. If you are up for a challenge, keep hiking to the Upper Pallisades lake, and you won’t regret it. A 15 mile in and back out hike is a great overnight camp or a day hike for advanced hikers. (Hike Open March – November) *Please be of weather conditions.

Palisades Lake

10 miles down Hwy 26 is a gorgeous lake suitable for the whole family. Swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing, and many more activities. This lake is not very commercialized. This makes the lake a great to get away and immerse yourself in the Idaho / Wyoming Forrest.

Winter

Ski Resorts

In just one hour, you can find yourself at one of two ski resorts. Each of these resorts is world-renowned for its beautiful scenery, challenging terrain, and amazing snow conditions. Grand Targhee is on the West side of the Tetons, and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort can be found just opposite on the west side of the Tetons.

Hot Springs

The best way to thaw out after a long day of skiing is to head to the Astoria Hot Springs just off the road on the way back from Jackson Hole. With Temperatures suitable for every age and a large variety of pools, it is great for the family. (Call ahead to see times and availability)
